A Living Creature, Land and Culture.

This large-scale Whaleshark design was created for Tourism Western Australia and lives in the reception area of the new Perth office.

At 5.5 metres in length, the design is an aerial view of the South West region of WA, using symbols to represent water, mobs, people, meeting places, and spirits.

The Whale Shark has a strong connection to Western Australia and its people. Over 500 different clan groups told stories of travel - symbolised by movements, which tie together through culture and are expressed within the artwork inside the Whale Shark body.
