Where lived experience meets creative expertise.
As an Aboriginal-owned and led creative agency, we work with care and purpose. And, as our agency grows to bring in more unique perspectives, we stay true to our origin, creating the kind of work that tells meaningful stories and delivers real-world outcomes.
We are a team of creatives, strategists, and deep thinkers with lived experience that spans Aboriginal heritage, LGBTQIA+ communities, gender, age, cultural, and neurodiversity—the kind of perspectives that deliver true impact.
Launching in 2020, Nani was co-founded by Kevin Wilson—a Wongutha man and graphic artist changing the way brands engage with Aboriginal culture and creativity—and Leigh Wood, an internationally experienced branding artist and commercial designer. These two award-winning leaders have created a meeting place. A space where ideas, collaborators, and brands come together.
What we do.

The Nani approach.
Our approach is explorative, sometimes bold, and always outcomes driven. But before we can create anything, we first create a meeting place.
-
Nani is a place of exploration. We thread culture and diverse perspectives into the brands and campaigns we create.
-
We work with care, bringing to life the kinds of stories that have the power to change behaviour, motivate action, and shape the way we engage with the world around us.
-
We bring lived experience to the table. The work we create then becomes a true representation of a meaningful story, not something manufactured. Because authenticity comes from authentic voices having a seat at the table.
-
Our approach to community engagement—where those we serve have a voice in the creative process—has become our signature; a method built on trust and respect.
-
We’re here to move the industry forward, not tick boxes. We are for those looking ahead, those who know that diverse perspectives deliver better outcomes. We see a future where an Aboriginal-led agency isn’t the exception, but the norm.
