Our individualism creates stories for us to tell.

Nani Creative was invited by NAATI, to transform their waiting area and kitchen into a space to be enjoyed by staff and visitors, including candidates waiting to take their certification tests.

We began with a co-design workshop where we explored contemporary Aboriginal design and art and discovered the NAATI story, from the perspective of the local team.

Following the session, Kevin designed an amazing mural that fits perfectly into the NAATI kitchen/waiting room space. It took over 30 hours to paint and stretches over 12 metres! A mindful colouring-in page helps to calm candidate nerves.

We acknowledge that we are all unique and we stand on Noongar, Whudjuk land. Our individualism creates stories for us to tell and Kaartdijin (Knowledge) for us to pass on. This design reflects the Bidee (Path) we travel down, the Kaleep (Meeting Places), and the success we have together Baardanginy (Along) the journey.
